The University Scholars program is for students who have been invited into this special program. If you are a 鈥淯 Scholar,鈥� you will follow an alternative general education curriculum.
You are required to complete 66 credits total 鈥� including the courses listed below and a 5-credit mathematics course approved to fulfill the quantitative reasoning requirement in the Exploratory Curriculum.
Prior to enrolling in USCH 3910 鈥淔aith and Science I,鈥� you must satisfy the lab science requirement with PHY 1111, 1101, or 1121. Alternatively, if you have taken physics in high school, those classes may satisfy this requirement along with any college-level, lab-science course such as BIO 1101 at Blakely Island Field Station.
Credit received for AP, Cambridge International, IB, or CLEP Physics will not fulfill this requirement.
*A combined total of no more than 4 credits is allowed in USCH 4960 and/or USCH 4965.
