Learning Outcomes
- Knowledge of Christian doctrine and its implications for an understanding of political science and the practice of politics.
- Understanding of the basic principles of American constitutionalism.
- Understanding and ability to discuss the enduring questions raised by political philosophy.
- Knowledge of the major forms of government and politics in countries other than the U.S. and the primary patterns of interaction among them in international and global politics.
- Ability to think critically and communicate effectively about politics and public policy.
- Increase capacity and desire for public service.
