Men Rebound After Slow Season Start

FOR THE SECOND YEAR in a row, Coach Jeff Hironaka’s men’s basketball program put together a late run at a postseason berth, only to come up just short. The upside is that there is plenty of positive momentum and the Falcons have all five starters due back in 2004–2005.

ɬÀï·¬ rebounded from a sluggish start to win five of its last seven and finish 14–13. Among the returnees will be all-region center Jason Chivers and GNAC Freshman of the Year Dustin Bremerman. Another returnee, Ralph Steele, led the nation in free-throw shooting (91.1 percent), while the Falcons were first among teams at 79.4 percent.
